Our past speaks of our future.
One of the first complex mobile apps in the Romanian travel industry.
In 2013, Republika developed and launched the Christian Tour mobile application, a complex project that required integration with other platforms.
The application generates personalized offers from the agency, according to the users’ specific details: budget, preferences, number of people, chosen period.
The application also facilitates planning a stay or circuit, booking hotels, booking flights and contacting the agency for extra requests. The most active users are rewarded with loyalty points they can convert to concrete benefits.
Sloop is a brand we have helped launch and grow since spring 2013. A fresh, fun and quirky brand speaking for an equally compelling range of products (smoothies and juices made with the most innovative technology, to maintain their purity and nutritional value), Sloop required a very creative approach in all communication.
From the very beginning, the main lines of attack were the digital environment, in-store display and HoReCa, in order to reach the most interested consumers in their natural habitats.
In the digital world, we started by launching the sloop.ro website (fresh, simple and to the point) its purpose was to present the products and their benefits, as well as the brand’s values and personality) as well as setting the foundation of the Sloop Facebook community, where we aimed to talk to young-minded urban users about everything fresh and smooth.
In parallel, we constantly displayed the Sloop benefits via in-store and HoReCa materials (which we have design and produced), both for awareness as well as for pushing individual promotions and campaigns.
Two of our recent in-store campaings for Sloop are Sloop it #LikeaCEO (in Inmedio stores and cafes) and Sloop it #LikeHercules (in Carrefour), the second one in partnership with the movie Hercules distributed in Romania by Forum Film.
While the Sloop it #LikeaCEO campaign spoke to the young professionals in the office buildings where the Inmedio stores were located, the Sloop it #LikeHercules concept touched on the common grounds of the two brands: modern demigods deserve a demigodly drink made of fresh fruit and nothing else.
We took the messages to the stores and cafes, via posters, shelf liners, neck hangers and everything else the patrons’ gaze might rest on, and also online – via digital activations, editorial content and community management.
Renault Romania is one of the large Facebook communities we are managing and growing for our clients.
Since spring 2014, we have developed a multiple-stage editorial strategy that includes much more than classic Facebook posts: our editorial projects, developed especially for the community members, satisfy their need for relevant quality content.
Two of our current editorial projects are the weekly guide to traveling by car and the monthly guide to responsibility in traffic.
Our community management services stand for more than answering questions nicely: they are aligned to the strategy, along with crisis management plans and optimized workflows that ensure the fans get everything they need, when they need it.
Since 2011, we have been behind the communication and presence of UniCredit Țiriac Bank, both for the overall brand and for individual campaigns and activations.
Our main challenge was gathering qualified leads for the bank’s products and services despite the audience’s reluctance to give out personal information online. Moreover, in an industry perceived as cold and unfriendly, brand equity has been an ongoing objective.
We have developed a communication platform based on the landing page and media campaign formula, perfecting it with each campaign in order to optimize marketing budgets.
Aside from long-term communication strategy development and communication consultancy, we have provided UniCredit Țiriac Bank with creative concepts for online campaigns with offline integration, development and maintenance of campaign websites and Facebook applications, lead generation and newsletter campaigns.
One of our most recent campaigns for NIVEA, developed in partnership with FCB Bucharest, was the “Super-Woman” international campaign, launched in 2014 and localized in all Central and Eastern European countries.
Thinking about our target audience, we redefined them as the every-day superwomen who do it all, and manage to do it well.
We challenged them to show us their daily responsibilities in an interactive game. Based on their choices our application generated very personalized comic books, depicting their lives super-hero style.
The platform we developed was localized in multiple countries in Europe, and the campaign was very well received by the community.
Aside from this success, we are in charge of the nivea.ro website management – which entails using Sitecore, Procampaign integration and implementing, monitoring and result analysis for each online campaign in Romania.
In collaboration with FCB Bucharest, we have so far integrated over 30 website modules and campaigns on the nivea.ro website.
Since 2010, we have been administering and growing the NIVEA Romania Facebook community, one of the largest Facebook pages in Romania, with over 800.000 fans locally.
Our services include yearly multi-stage editorial strategies developed in collaboration with FCB Bucharest, aligned to the international guidelines and converging towards the local goals, including continuously optimized tactics such as our editorial projects (premium recurrent editorial content created exclusively for the Facebook community) and digital activations for boosting engagement.
We continuously offer community management (with a strong crisis prevention and management component), marked by individual campaigns and activations whenever certain products or initiative need to be highlighted. So far, we have developed over 40 Facebook applications, some of them integrated with tablets and smartphones.
A complex project that required us to develop a scalable publishing platform allowing for the sustenance and growth of the online audience of the Evenimentul Zilei Group – one of the largest media trusts in Romania.
The project consisted of building hardware and software architecture that enhances performance, cost optimization, and developing alternative monetizing solutions for the content and online services.
Our collaboration with the group included relaunching the Capital.ro website with a more user-friendly design and more accessible CMS interface, developing and maintaining the first Facebook newspaper in Romania and increasing brand equity by developing the CSR platform “Coloram Romania”.
Our story began in 2010, when Romanian Internet users were starting to discover new ways to interact with their favorite stories and characters. Out of the 8 million internet users, over half were frequenting social networks like Hi5 and Facebook.
However, the nature of our collaboration with Forum Film – distributor of Disney, Pixar, Lionsgate and Marvel movies – has its own challenges: we had to promote different movies to different audience segments, using different tones.
So we created the CineForum community of cinephiles on Facebook and built each campaign on this single platform since then.
Our long-term relationship with Forum Film entailed a perpetual supply of community building and channel management services, along with constant monitoring and reporting. But, most importantly, the community was reactivated over and over again with digital and integrated campaigns for each movie launch.
Over the years, we have launched movies and animations for children (Tinker Bell, Cars 2, Tangled), superhero fans (The Avengers, Captain America: Winter Soldier), fantasy and adventure lovers (Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Oz the Great and Powerful, the Hunger Games series) as well as thriller and drama enthusiasts (A Most Wanted Man, August: Osage County).
Drawing the line, we have developed over 30 Facebook applications for Forum Film and attracted hundreds of thousands of fans in our community.
Our best practices for this client, refined along the way, include mixes of interactive apps, strong community management, quality editorial content, partnerships with other brands and media campaigns.
“Cine Grand – The new way to watch movies”
In September 2014, a new cinema brand was ready to enter the Romanian cinema industry with a new multiplex: Cine Grand.
As it was a new brand for the Bucharest moviegoers, we successfully managed to create a positive perception of the brand.
We have created an integrated campaign with the goal of raising awareness and creating conversation around the newest cinema in town. The communication strategy focused on the residents of the Titan neighborhood, where the cinema was opened.
The communication strategy developed for Cine Grand included ATL and BTL, advertising, PR activities and event planning.
One of the first complex mobile apps in the Romanian travel industry.
